This is the world's first commercially available strip looper that uses relays to do the switching. We know how precious your tone is which is why we use our relay technology in ALL of our switching products INCLUDING the QuarterMaster series. We do NOT put your signal through unreliable 3PDT foot switches.

True Bypass Module (tb loop)
At the heart of the QuarterMaster are the 'True Bypass' effect loops. What makes the QuarterMaster series loops so special is that we use TheGigRig relay switching technology to keep the signal absolutely clean and pure, and the switching itself quiet. We use high quality gold contact relays giving you the best possible signal path and we NEVER put your signal through noisy unreliable footswitches.
'tb loops' are used in all locations for the QuarterMaster series by default, and can be preplaced with the following Custom Shop Modules.

Tuner Module
The Tuner module has a single send that is plugged into the input of your tuner. When you press the footswitch the output to your amp is muted and your guitar signal is sent straight to your tuner. This means that the tuner is taken out of your signal path keeping your precious tone intact. The Tuner module is available in standard AND Custom Shop QuarterMasters.
POSITION : The Tuner Module is always located on the right and replaces the first 'True Bypass' loop.

Master Bypass Module
The Master Bypass Module is a fantastic addition to any Quarter Master when you need to have 'one step access' to your bypass tone. Press it once and all of the loops you have selected are bypassed, press again and the QuarterMaster returns to the previous selected loops.
POSITION : The Master Bypass Module is always located on the right and replaces the first 'True Bypass' loop unless you have also chosen a tuner in which case it will be next to the Tuner replacing tb loop no.2.

Volume +/- Module
When we came up with the Volume +/- Module there were a dangerous number of enthusiastic high five's flying around around the lab. The Volume +/- Module gives you the ability to boost or attenuate any effect that is placed in the loop. Fantastic to boost old phasers or to tame a high output OD. If you leave the loop empty with nothing plugged in then the Volume+/- Module becomes a clean boost that you can set to any level you like.
POSITION : The Volume +/- Module can replace any tb loop anywhere in the signal path and you can have more than one.

Insert Module
The 'always on' Insert Module has been designed to enable you to integrate your amps FX loop with your Custom Shop QuarterMaster. The send is isolated and earth-liftable (if that's even a word) so it gives you the ability to isolate the earth/ground between the pre amp and power amp section of your amplifier. In our experience a non- isolated send is the most common cause of noise and problems when it comes to integrating a loop switcher with amps' FX send and return. The QuarterMaster Insert Module takes care of this.
POSITION : The Insert Module can replace any tb loop anywhere in the signal path.

Remote Switch 1 Module
The Remote Switch 1 Module is an isolated remote switch designed to switch devices that can be controlled using a simple latching on/off external switch. Perfect to controlling your amps' channel selection or turning on and off the reverb direct form your Custom QuarterMaster. The Remote Switch has 2 outputs, one normally open, and one normally closed so you can choose the polarity you need.
POSITION : The Remote Switch 1 Modules is always on the left after any tb loops.

Tap Tempo Module
If your delay pedal has a separate tap tempo input, then you can control the delay speed direct from your QuarterMaster. The Tap Tempo Module has two outputs, one taps to close, that other taps to open so no matter what polarity the tap tempo input is, you'll be able control it.

QuarterMaster Custom Shop Output Configurations

Apart from the standard single output, the QuarterMaster Custom shop gives you a choice of some very cool output options.

A/B/Y
The Custom Shop A/B/Y output configuration gives you the choice of two switchable outputs. Output A is standard switchable output while output B uses an audio transformer to isolate it making sure you have no ground/earth loops when using two amplifiers. On top of this the B output is phase reversible, meaning no matter what two amps you hook up to the A/B/Y you can always be in phase. Add to this a third 'always on' output. If you're going to rehearsal and you don't want to use your normal two amps, then just plug into this always on output into your practice rig. Easy
