ABY BABY
The GigRig ABY BABY is a powerful yet compact active ABY splitter that uses our Transformer-less, Balanced Isolation design. Output B is is also phase reversible. With 3 separate modes of operation you can select the outputs individually or flip/flop between them. It also features our own OptoKick™ footswitches, designed for extreme durability. With its huge amount of headroom the ABY BABY is designed to work with anything from standard passive instrument signal levels to higher-output line levels.
WHY ABY BABY ?
There are countless situations where you need to split or combine dual signal paths and easily switch between them. The most common is running two amps — whether in stereo, dual-mono, or a wet/dry setup.
However, the moment you split your signal, two common problems can arise: ground loop hum and phase reversal. ABY Baby solves both with its isolated, phase-reversible Output B, ensuring your tone stays clean and consistent.
Output A gives you the flexibility to choose between true bypass or buffered operation, so you can tailor it to your rig, pedals, and amps.
We’ve also added a Flip Flop mode, allowing instant, one-touch switching between A and B, perfect for players who need fast, seamless changes on stage.
At the heart of ABY Baby is our custom-designed Hi-Definition Isolation circuit, paired with our ultra-reliable OptoKick™ optical footswitches — built for maximum durability and smooth, silent operation.
