GUITAR TECH - INPUT SIGNAL MANAGER

If you’re running more than one instrument, things get messy fast.

Different output levels. Noise issues. Switching headaches.

And no clean way to keep everything balanced and under control.

Guitar Tech fixes that.

It’s a professional input signal manager that lets you connect up to four instruments and route them exactly where you need them, cleanly, quietly and with complete control.

Whether you’re switching guitars mid-song, running multiple players, or feeding amps and front-of-house at the same time, Guitar Tech keeps everything consistent, balanced and ready to go.

No noise. No level jumps. No stress.

WHY GUITAR TECH?

Take control of everything before your signal even hits your rig.

If you’ve ever had to switch between multiple guitars on stage, you’ll know how quickly things can get messy.

Different output levels. Swapping cables. Noise issues.

And no clean way to keep everything balanced and under control.

Guitar Tech is designed to fix that.

It’s a professional input signal manager that lets you connect up to four instruments and route them exactly where you need them cleanly, quietly and with complete control.

Each input has its own high-headroom preamp and trim control, so whether you’re plugging in a low-output Strat, a hot humbucker guitar, an acoustic with a preamp or even keys or tracks, everything can be properly level matched. No jumps. No surprises.

Switching between instruments is seamless, and if you need to bring more than one source in at once, Mixer mode lets you blend them together.

One of the most useful features, and something that makes a real difference on stage, is the way Guitar Tech handles tuning. Any instrument that isn’t currently selected is automatically routed to the tuner output, so you can tune silently while another instrument is live.

It also gives you proper control over where your signal goes. You can send it to Output 1, Output 2, or both at the same time, whether that’s amps, pedalboards, or front-of-house.

And crucially, it does all of this without adding noise or compromising your signal.

Guitar Tech isn’t just a switcher, it’s the missing piece at the very front of your rig. The bit that makes everything else work properly.

FAQs

Will this affect my tone at all?

No. Guitar Tech is designed with high-headroom, internally balanced circuitry, so your signal stays clean and intact. It doesn’t colour your tone, it just gives you control over it.

Can I use this with more than just guitars?

Yes. Guitar Tech will happily handle basses, acoustics with preamps, wireless systems, keys, synths and other line-level sources. Each input has its own trim control, so you can match levels properly regardless of what you plug in.

How does the silent tuning actually work?

Any input that isn’t currently selected is automatically sent to the tuner output. So you can tune one instrument while another is live, no muting, no switching around, it just works.

How does Guitar Tech work with G3?

Guitar Tech sits right at the front of your rig, before your G3.

It handles all your inputs, multiple guitars, keys, wireless systems, and sends a clean, level-matched signal into G3. From there, G3 takes over loop switching and effects control.

You can also control Guitar Tech directly from G3 via MIDI, so input selection becomes part of your presets. One press on G3 can switch your entire rig, guitar, pedals and outputs, all at once.

Why wouldn’t I just plug straight into G3?

You absolutely can

G3 is designed to manage your effects loops. Guitar Tech is designed to manage everything before that:

  • Level matching between instruments

  • Silent tuning

  • Multiple input sources

  • Clean switching between instruments

Together, they give you proper control over the whole signal path, not just the pedals.

Can Guitar Tech be fully controlled by G3 presets?

Yes.

Guitar Tech responds to MIDI Program Change and Control Change messages, so you can assign input selection to your G3 presets.

That means:

  • Select the right guitar automatically

  • Route it where it needs to go

  • And switch your pedal setup

All from a single footswitch press.
